i spent a lot of time in cars over xmas break. i always had my camera on hand and decided to finally
attempt to capture those moments where the song playing, the people you're with, and the sunshine come together to fill me up and appreciate love.
this means a lot to me because behind josh is the blind school...where the best grass grows in the summer and spring..and to my side is almeda park...my favorite park. it has a lil train you can ride around the park. and big cottonwood trees. in fall, the trees rain floating cotton all over the town. ants don't bite me in this park. plus, josh is a best friend to me and very important in helping me become who i am today. song by ben kweller.
christmas day driving to the cornfields where my aunt and uncle live outside of peoria, il. my brother josh and my niece madi and a red balloon and a song by the national. this turned out to be one of the few peaceful moments of the road trip from new mexico.
madi and i were crammed in the very back seat. she got the pirate hat from my brother. one of eight presents. why that many? well i'll tell the story. madi screams a lot for effect when my brother or dad get on her nerves...like tickling and stuff. my brother told her that every time she didn't scream when he bothered her that he'd give her a present. so madi got smart and would ask him to like..pull her hair..and she would take it w/out screaming to add another present. it was silly.
